Biographical Information

Anika M. Garcia, M.A. (PCCI# 2314) received her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2014. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Areas of concentration include depression, anxiety, anger management, relational conflict, and self-esteem. As a military spouse and U.S. Navy veteran she is sensitive to the culture, needs, and concerns of military service members, veterans, and their families. She is excited to help others explore ways to be more connected, resilient, and live wholeheartedly through the development of mindfulness, empathy, and self-compassion skills. She provides counseling services under the supervision of Dr. Barbara Burt (PSY23977).
